The Peoria Student Broadcasting Network is an internship program available to students in the Peoria Unified School District which is located in Peoria, Arizona. When the program was launched in 2013, the goal was to provide hands-on learning for students who were completing the Film and TV courses as part of the Career and Technical Education course offerings. Our programs are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities with students having access to industry-leading equipment from companies like Adobe, Sony, NewTek Inc., Singular.Live, and so many more. As a result of the opportunities provided, students leave our Film and TV program with the knowledge needed to put them at the top of their class as freshmen in college or giving them the ability to start their own businesses straight out of high school.

Every year our students create phenomenal work and we love to brag about them (because they are amazing interns). Here are some of the numbers from the 2022 – 2023 school year:

  • 100+ student interns
  • 96+ Sporting and Academic broadcast events
  • 67,727 views (10,000 more than the previous year)
  • 4 NATAS Student Production Awards (double from the previous year); 6 Total Awards
  • 3 Peoria Unified Film Festival Awards
  • 3 Educational Partners
